When you use a product labeled 'talex-touch' or with the 'PolyglotBox' tag, you are agreeing to the following agreement

"talex-touch" and related services refer to the web-based application labeled "talex-touch", which is independently developed and operated by talex-touch organization (GITHUB with the same name) (hereinafter referred to as "we"). As the operator of "talex-touch", we understand the importance of your personal information, and your trust is very important to us. We will protect your personal information and privacy security in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations and industry best practices. We have formulated this "Privacy Policy" and specifically remind you: we hope you carefully read and understand this privacy policy before using talex-touch and related services, so as to make appropriate choices.

- We will follow the privacy policy to collect and use your information, but we will not use mandatory bundling to collect personal information solely because you agree to this privacy policy.

- IP location (precise positioning) and camera (photo) permissions will not be enabled by default, and will only be used with your explicit authorization to achieve specific functions or services. You can also revoke authorization. It is worth noting that even if we obtain these sensitive permissions with your authorization, we will not collect your information when the relevant functions or services do not require it.
This privacy policy applies to your access and use of our products and services through the talex-touch website or application (touch.talexs.com). If you use some or several services provided by us or affiliated companies, and there are separate privacy policies, the corresponding services or products will be subject to the corresponding privacy policies; if no separate privacy policy is established, this policy also applies to the relevant products or services.
The following will help you understand in detail how we collect, use, store, transmit, share, transfer (where applicable), and protect personal information; and help you understand the ways to access, copy, delete, correct, and revoke authorization for personal information. This policy is closely related to your use of our services, and we recommend that you carefully read and understand all the contents of this policy, and make appropriate choices. Among them, the important contents of the terms concerning your personal information rights are highlighted in bold form, please pay special attention.
1. How We Collect and Use Personal Information
We collect and use information that you voluntarily provide while using our services, as well as information generated through automated means during your use of features or receipt of services:
1.1 Registration and Login
- When you register or log in to talex-touch and related services, you can create an account using your phone number, and you can complete related network identity information (avatar, nickname, password) to assist you in registration. The phone number is necessary information to fulfill the requirements of national laws and regulations on real-name registration for networks. If you do not provide a phone number for registration or login, we may not be able to provide you with functions such as information publishing and commenting. After registering or logging in, you can fill out personal information (introduction, gender) to enhance your profile. We will collect the personal information you actively provide for display to other users and for providing you with recommended content.
- With the cooperation between us and telecommunication operators, when you use the "one-click login" function of talex-touch, with your consent, we will process your phone number with the operator to provide you with convenient login services. Refusal of the above processing will result in the inability to use the "one-click login" method to register or log in to talex-touch, but it will not affect your registration or login through other methods, nor will it affect the normal use of other functions.
- You can also use third-party accounts to log in and use talex-touch. You authorize us to obtain the public information (avatar, nickname, and other authorized information) registered on the third-party platform to bind with your talex-touch account for direct login and use of this product and related services.
- Accounts obtained through the invitation system can also log in to talex-touch directly but must proceed with phone number verification.
1.2 Content Browsing
- talex-touch may recommend more interesting information based on the tags, topics, and users you subscribe to within talex-touch. To achieve this function, we may collect necessary log information. We will not use data from third-party sources to achieve the above functions.
1.3 Publishing and Interaction
1.3.1 Information Publishing
- When you publish content, comments, questions, or answers, we will collect the information you publish and display your nickname, avatar, and published content.
- When you use the upload picture or change avatar function, we will request your authorization for storage space and camera permissions. If you refuse to authorize, you will not be able to use this function, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of talex-touch.
- Information collected from users due to their use of our products or services, such as information posted by other users that may contain part of your information (e.g., information related to you in comments, messages, or posted content).
1.3.2 Interaction and Communication
- When you actively follow accounts or wikis that interest you and interact with them by browsing, commenting, collecting, liking, or sharing content, we will collect the accounts you follow and display content published by accounts you follow.
1.4 Search
- When you use the search service and cloud data (such as cloud templates) of talex-touch, we will collect your search keyword information and log records. To provide efficient search services, some of the aforementioned information may be temporarily stored on your local storage device, and we can show you search result content and search history.
1.5 Application for talex-touch Business Edition
- When you apply to become a user of the talex-touch Business Edition, we will collect your real name, contact information (WeChat or phone number), current company, personal profile information, and blog and technical media information. If you fail to provide the above information, you may not be able to become a user of the talex-touch Business Edition, but it will not affect your use of other functions of talex-touch.
1.6 talex-touch Knowledge Column
- You can sign up for and use online document learning and viewing activities through the Knowledge Column feature of talex-touch. Since all activities and rights of the Knowledge Column are limited to student status, if you want to use the Knowledge Column feature of talex-touch, we need to collect your name, school name, college, current academic degree, major name, graduation time, contact email, phone number, student card cover, student card personal information page, and student registration page to complete student identity verification.
- During the authentication process, some of the information we require you to provide is personal sensitive information. You can refuse to provide it, and it will not affect the normal use of other functions of talex-touch. This information is only used for student authentication and for purposes stipulated by laws and regulations, and will not be used for other purposes without your explicit authorization.
- If you believe that we have mishandled your personal information or you wish to cancel your student authentication, please contact us promptly through the contact information at the end of the document.
1.7 Real Name Authentication
- When you apply for withdrawal or use other functions or services that require real-name authentication, in order to comply with legal requirements, safeguard your or other users' safety, or maintain the security and stability of functions/services, you need to provide true identity information (real name, ID card number, which may vary depending on the circumstances) to complete real-name authentication.
- During real-name authentication, it may be necessary for a third-party authentication institution providing authentication services to verify your real identity information. This information will be used for completing real-name authentication, declaring personal income tax for you, or for other purposes stipulated by laws and regulations, and will not be used for other purposes without your explicit authorization. You can refuse to provide it, but you may not be able to use functions or related services that require mandatory real-name authentication. The inability to use such functions or services does not affect your use of other functions and services.
1.8 Other Functions
- When you share or receive shared information, we need to access your clipboard and read the links contained therein to achieve sharing and other functions or services.
- We may need to access your browser information to provide you with a more reasonable page layout.
- We may need to access your device information to provide you with a more reasonable page theme and page color (see 1.9.2 for details).
1.9 Operation and Security Operation/Safeguarding
1.9.1 Operation and Security Safeguard Functions
- We are committed to providing you with a secure and trustworthy product and usage environment, and providing high-quality and reliable services is our core goal. To maintain the normal operation of our services, protect your or other users' legitimate interests from harm, we may collect necessary information for maintaining the security and stable operation of products or services.
1.9.2 Device Information and Log Information
- To ensure the secure operation of software and services, the quality and efficiency of operation, we will collect your hardware model, operating system version number, device identifier (IMEI, AndroidID, OAID, IMSI, ICCID, MEID for Android; IDFV, IDFA for iOS; different identifiers have different validity periods, whether they can be reset by users, and how they are obtained may vary), network device hardware address (MAC address), IP address, Bluetooth, software version number, network access method, type, status, network quality data, operations, usage, service logs, device sensor data.
- To prevent malicious programs and ensure secure operation, we may collect installed application information or information about running processes, overall operation and usage frequency of applications, application crash situations, overall installation and usage situations, performance data, application sources.
- We may use your account information, device information, service log information, and information obtained from our affiliated companies or partners with your authorization or as permitted by law to judge account security, conduct identity verification, and detect and prevent security incidents.
1.10 Changes in Collection and Use of Personal Information Purposes
Please note that as our business develops, there may be adjustments and changes to the functions and services provided by talex-touch. In principle, when new functions or services are related to our current functions or services, the collection and use of personal information will be directly or reasonably related to the original processing purposes. Please note that if the information cannot identify your personal identity alone or in combination with other information, it does not belong to your personal information in the legal sense. When your information can identify your personal identity alone or in combination with other information or when we use data that cannot be associated with any specific personal information together with your other personal information, this information will be treated and protected as your personal information according to this privacy policy.

We may set authentication and security cookies or anonymous identifiers to confirm whether you are securely logged into the service, or whether you have encountered theft, fraud, and other illegal activities. These technologies also help us improve service efficiency and enhance login and response speeds.
2.2 Helping You Obtain a More Convenient Access Experience
Using such technologies can help you eliminate the steps and processes of repeatedly filling in personal information and entering search content (e.g., recording searches, filling in forms).

Most browsers provide users with the function to clear browser cache data, and you can perform corresponding data clearing operations in the browser settings function. If you clear cookies, you may not be able to use services or features provided by us that rely on cookies due to these modifications.
3. Cooperation Partners Involved in the Data Use Process, and Transfer, Disclosure of Personal Information
3.1 Cooperation Partners Involved in the Data Use Process
3.1.1 Principles
- Legal Principle: Data usage activities involving cooperation partners must have legal purposes and comply with statutory legal bases. If the use of information by cooperation partners no longer complies with the legal principle, they should not use your personal information anymore or should only use it after obtaining corresponding legal bases.

- If specific functions and scenarios involve services provided by our affiliates or third parties, the scope of cooperation partners includes our affiliates and third parties.
3.1.5 Data Usage to Achieve Functions or Services
- When you use functions provided by our cooperation partners in talex-touch or when software service providers, smart device providers, and system service providers cooperate with us to provide services to you, we may use necessary information to achieve business purposes, conduct comprehensive statistics, and form indirect audience profiles to recommend, display, or push information that you may be interested in or to push specific functions, services, or commercial advertisements that are more suitable for you.
- Based on our cooperation with telecommunication operators, when you use the "one-click login" function in talex-touch, with your consent, we will use your mobile phone number to provide you with convenient login services. Refusal to use the above will result in your inability to register and log in to talex-touch through "one-click login", but it will not affect your registration and login through other methods or the normal use of other functions.
- Wallet Function: The related services in the wallet function are provided by our affiliates and partners. When you use wallet-related functions, our affiliates and partners will collect necessary information based on the necessity of functions or services.
- Payment Function: The payment function is provided to you by third-party payment institutions cooperating with us. Third-party payment institutions may need to collect your name, bank card type and number, expiration date, and mobile phone number. Bank card number, expiration date, and mobile phone number are personal sensitive information required for the payment function. Refusal to provide them will result in your inability to use this function, but it will not affect the normal use of other functions.
- Customer Service: To handle your complaints, suggestions, and other demands promptly, customer service providers need to use your account, relevant information of the complained events, and respond to relevant issues in a timely manner.
3.1.6 Data Usage for Advertising Business
- Advertising Push and Delivery: Cooperation partners involved in push/promotion and advertising delivery or providing the above services may use de-identified or anonymized device, network, channel information, and tag information. Cooperation partners collaborating with advertisers for advertising push/promotion, delivery/analysis services may need to use the aforementioned information to achieve advertising delivery, optimize, and improve the effectiveness of advertising.
- Advertising Statistical Analysis: Cooperation partners involved in push/promotion, advertising delivery, and providing the above analysis services may need to use your device, network, advertising click, browsing, display, and advertising conversion data and other information for analysis, measurement, and improvement of the effectiveness of advertising and related services.
- Use of Information by Advertising Partners: Advertising partners may combine the above information with other lawfully obtained data to optimize the effectiveness of advertising delivery. We will require them to use the information in accordance with legal, fair, and necessary principles to protect users' legitimate rights from infringement.
- Advertising Lead Information: When you voluntarily fill in your contact information, address, etc., in the advertisement display page provided by the advertiser or its commissioned service provider, this information may be directly collected and used by the advertiser.
3.1.7 Sharing Information for Security and Analysis Statistics
- Ensuring Security: We attach great importance to account and service security. To protect your and other users' account and property security and safeguard your and our legitimate rights and interests from illegal infringement, we and affiliated companies or service providers may share necessary device, account, and log information.
- Analyzing Product Usage: To analyze the usage of our services and improve user experience, our cooperation partners may need information such as product usage (crashes, flashes), device identification information, and overall application installation and usage conditions.
3.1.8 Helping You Participate in Marketing Promotion Activities
- When you choose to participate in marketing activities organized by us and our cooperation partners, to ensure that you experience consistent services in joint activities or that cooperation partners promptly fulfill rewards to you, we and our cooperation partners may need to use your name, address, contact information, bank account, etc. (the information used in different activities may vary, subject to the rules of the activities). Refusal to use the above may affect your participation in related activities, but it will not affect other functions.
3.2 Transfer
- With the continuous development of our business, we may merge, acquire, or transfer assets, which may result in the transfer of your personal information. In the event of the aforementioned changes, we will require the transferee to continue to fulfill the obligations of the personal information processor in accordance with legal requirements and not lower than the security standards specified in this privacy policy. - Collecting personal information from information that has been legally publicly disclosed;

4. How We Store Personal Information

Currently, we do not transfer the above information overseas. - Phone Number: When you use your phone number to register and log in, we need to continuously retain your phone number to provide you with normal services, respond to your inquiries and complaints, and ensure the security of your account and system.
- Information You Posted, Comments, Likes, and Related Information: During the period when your account is not withdrawn, deleted, or not canceled, we will retain relevant information to provide you with continuous business functions.
- If you cancel your account, actively delete personal information, or exceed the necessary period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except in the following cases:
- Compliance with legal requirements for information retention (for example, the "Electronic Commerce Law" stipulates that the time for retaining product and service information and transaction information shall not be less than three years from the completion of the transaction).
- Reasonable extension of the period is required for financial, auditing, dispute resolution, etc.

- You understand and acknowledge that the systems and communication networks you use to access our services may encounter issues beyond our control. - Once you leave talex-touch and related services to browse or use other websites, services, and content resources, we will not have the ability and direct obligation to protect any personal information you submit to software, websites, etc., outside of talex-touch and related services, regardless of whether you log in, browse, or use the above-mentioned software, websites, etc., based on links or guidance from talex-touch.
6. Personalized Recommendations

- We provide personalized recommendation services, including displaying news, web pages, articles, images, or video content, etc. To predict your preferences, we may collect and use your device information as well as behavioral information when using the product. Behavioral information includes records of your operations such as clicks, follows, favorites, searches, queries, browsing, downloads, shares, and transactions when accessing/using the product. We will automatically analyze and calculate the above information, and the system will automatically select content that you may be more interested in based on the calculation results.
- We will continuously adjust and optimize the recommendation results based on your browsing behavior during product usage, in order to better provide you with high-quality content.
6.2 Control and Management of Personalized Recommendations
6.2.1 Autonomous Control of Receiving Information
- We will utilize recommendation algorithms to provide personalized recommendations and displays based on the content you browse. You can control personalized recommendations for information content through the following methods:
- Autonomously Decide to Receive Personalized Push News: You can enable or disable the personalized recommendation feature through "Me" - "Settings" - "Personalized Recommendation Settings." You can choose to disable all personalized recommendations with one click. When you choose to disable all personalized recommendations, the "Recommendations" channel will no longer be displayed to you, and you will not be able to enjoy personalized recommendation services, but you can still browse non-personalized recommendation content such as "Followed," "Hot," "Featured Headlines," etc.
- Autonomously Subscribe to Desired Information: In the "Follow" channel, information will be displayed based on the accounts you actively choose to follow, and you can choose to follow or unfollow them at your discretion.
7. Manage Your Personal Information
We highly value your management of personal information and strive to protect your rights related to accessing, copying, correcting, supplementing, deleting, withdrawing consent, canceling your account, lodging complaints, reporting issues, and setting privacy functions, enabling you to safeguard your privacy and information security.
7.1 Changing or Withdrawing Authorization

- You can close relevant permissions in the device's operating system to change the scope of consent or withdraw your authorization. After revoking the authorization, we will no longer collect information related to these permissions.

- You can access and unsubscribe from accounts you follow by going to talex-touch - "Me" - clicking your avatar - "Following."
- You can view the followers' account information by going to talex-touch - "Me" - clicking your avatar - "Followers."
7.2.3 Accessing and Correcting Your Favorites, Likes, Reading History
- To access or correct your favorites, likes, or reading history, go to talex-touch - "Me" - "Liked," "Collections," or "Read Articles."
- You can also manage cache information by going to talex-touch - "Me" - "Settings" - "Cache Management."
7.2.4 Deleting Published Content, Comment Content
- To delete published content, go to talex-touch - "Me" - click your avatar - go to "Dynamic" or "Column" or "Hot" - enter the single content - click the "..." symbol in the upper right corner to delete.
- To delete comment content, you can visit the page and delete your comment or undo your like.
- Please note, for security and identity recognition purposes (such as number appeal services), you may not be able to independently modify some of the initial registration information submitted during registration. If you do need to modify such registration information, please contact us using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy.
